Dr Steve Downing, Senior Editor, JGM
Dr Steve Downing takes over the role of Senior Editor of the Journal of General Management from the Winter Issue 2009.
Steve is an Associate Professor at Henley Business School, University of Reading where he is Director of the Sustainability Lab, the Entrepreneurship Elective and the Sustainable Business Special Interest Group. At Henley, Steve co-founded the John Madejski Centre for Reputation and has further developed his research in the areas of entrepreneurship, strategy, change management, acquisitions, leadership, responsibility and sustainability.
Prior to his work at Henley, Steve had broad experiences both in academia and business. Having previously worked as a researcher at London Business School and having taught at Cardiff Business School, Steve applied his management expertise to the pharmaceutical industry and to various projects in Local Economic Development.
James Cross, Publisher's Editor, JGM
James Cross began working with the JGM in 2006. Since then he has worked to proof-read, project-manage and electronically publish the Journal. James has recently taken over the role of overseeing the Journal's anonymous review process along with Dr Steve Downing. He is currently working on a PhD on Ancient Greek medical texts at King's College London and also teaches Latin. |
